Our Story
Pure Dog Chew was founded by three longtime friends: Anup Sharma, Robin Sharma, and Rabin Bhattarai. It began as a conversation about love for dogs and business, leading them back to something deeply familiar: Nepal’s traditional Himalayan cheese. This cheese had always been part of everyday life in the mountains. It was hard, nourishing, and made with care. They had a simple question: could this same traditional product be made safely and responsibly for dogs without changing what made it special?
To find the answer, the team went straight to the source. They partnered with local farmers, worked closely with traditional artisans, and focused on preserving the original process rather than speeding it up or cutting corners. Every step was shaped by patience, safety, and quality.
From the Himalayas to happy paws
Pure Dog Chew began with a simple idea: to bring the natural goodness of Himalayan yak cheese to dogs everywhere. Each chew is handmade using traditional methods and the purest yak and cow milk, which creates a treat that is long-lasting, nutritious, and loved by dogs of all sizes.
But our mission goes beyond treats. Every chew supports Nepali farmers, preserves age-old traditions, and strengthens communities.
